A: Yes! Use the free Community edition to evaluate SimpleSTIG. Upgrade to a paid tier anytime with a 20% discount.

Q: What happens if I exceed my tier limits?

A: You'll see warnings as you approach limits. Once exceeded, you cannot create new resources but existing ones are preserved. Upgrade prompts will be shown.

Q: Can I downgrade my tier?

A: Yes, but your data is preserved. Resources exceeding the new tier's limits cannot be modified until you delete them or upgrade again.

Q: Do I need internet for license activation?

A: No, all expiration checks use your server's system clock. License generation and activation can be done offline.

Q: What's included in my subscription?

A: Security patches, bug fixes, feature updates, and support responses for the duration of your subscription (monthly or annual).

Q: Can I transfer my license to another team?

A: Yes, system admins can transfer licenses between teams. This is logged in the audit trail.
